Club Braque Francais - North America
The mission of the CBFNA is to promote, protect, and preserve the Braque Francais breed in North America as developed over the centuries in France.
We recognize the Club du Braque Francais as the original and primary breed club, and are committed to working with them to further establish and promote this wonderful breed in North America.
· We will assist the United Kennel Club (UKC) in promoting the breed and will encourage participation in a system of Field Trials, Conformation Events, and T.A.N.s (natural ability hunt tests) in North America.
· We will organize these events as closely as possible to the events held in Europe under the sanction of the FCI (Federation Cynologique Internationale, an international federation of kennel clubs based in Belgium.)
· We will help educate the public and media about the Braque Francais breed.
· We advocate ethical and responsible breeding practices through a voluntary code of ethics.
The club needs active, engaged members. No matter what part of the country you are in, CBFNA provides a community for advancing the breed in North America, sharing information, and getting hunters and their dogs together.
